Dues

Basic Membership                                                                                                                                                            $45 a year
This entitles you to all membership benefits and makes you a member of the Theosophical Society in America. In addition, you may also join the National Lodge or a local Lodge or Study Center, as described below.

Student under the age of 25                                                                                                                                               $24 a year
A student under the age of 25 is eligible for reduced dues. To qualify for this reduction, you must attach a copy of a valid student I.D. card or other proof of your student status.

Member of a Local Lodge or Study Center                                                         Consult your local group for its dues information
To belong to a local group, you must first belong to the National Society. An officer of the local group must sign this form and send it with your basic membership dues to the National Secretary. For information about the location of such local groups, search www.theosophical.org, or contact info@theosmail.net.

Life Membership                                                                                                                                                                    $1,100
In appreciation for a donation of $1,100 to the Membership Endowment Fund, you become a Life Member of the Theosophical Society in America. Your donation is invested, and the income from it is used to pay your basic membership dues for the rest of your life. Payments may be made in one lump sum or on a prearranged schedule of $50, or $100 a month. For more information, please contact the Membership Office at membership@theosmail.net.

National Lodge                                                                                      Consult the National Lodge office for its dues information
Regardless of where you are located, the National Lodge can provide you with an enriched study experience in Theosophy. Through a series of self-study papers sent by mail or e-mail, you will explore a variety of topics also being studied by other members. For opportunities to interact directly with other individuals, members of the National Lodge are encouraged also to join a local group if one is located in your area. For information on the current study and how to sign up, search www.theosophical.org or contact natlodge@theosmail.net.
