Professor of Philosophy and Comparative Religion at Central Florida Community College. He first received international acclaim by decoding the geometric mysteries of Plato. His recent book, The Golden Section: Nature’s Greatest Secret has received rave reviews. A life-long student of the Ancient Wisdom, Scott has trained with physicist David Bohm, world religion expert Huston Smith, sacred geometer Keith Critchlow, and esotericist/ artist John Michell.

Jonathan Zimmer, M.A.: Bridge Over Treasured Waters: Mathematics, Metaphor, and the Weird and Wonderful Gap between Thing and No Thing

Editor of the comparative religious fiction magazine Crooked Arm Pillow. He is a speaker on Theosophy and Mathematics, and is in the process of writing several articles, books, plays, and poems. He is also a life member of American Mensa and the United States Chess Federation. He holds an A.S. degree in Physics, a B.A. degree in Mathematics, and an M.A. degree in Education.

World renowned quantum physicist Amit Goswami, Ph.D. will be here in person for a screening of his latest documentary The Quantum Activist, wherein  Dr. Goswami shares his vision of the unlimited potential of consciousness as the ground of all being, and how this revelation can actually help us to live better.

Kathryn Gann, Journey into Beauty: How Nature Supports our Every Step

Has been a student of theosophy for approximately 15 years, and currently serves as President of the Denver Theosophical Society in Colorado.  She especially enjoys theosophical teachings related to beauty, and is interested in finding ways to present wisdom teachings to children.   She is the mother of two grown children and works in Denver, Colorado, as a paralegal in pharmaceutical mass tort litigation.

Opera Reading by Nancy Rhodes

The Theory of Everything, a new opera with an original libretto by Nancy Rhodes and music by John David Earnest, explores ideas of science, spirituality, the nature of consciousness and our search for meaning. The story is inspired by physics’ superstring theory which postulates the simultaneous existence of at least 10 dimensions, and that everything in the universe---from our bodies to the farthest star---is composed of vibrating energy.

Nancy Rhodes (Author/Stage Director) is Artistic Director of Encompass New Opera Theatre in New York City, specializing in creating, developing and producing new opera/music theatre.  She has staged over 75 contemporary operas and has fostered the creation and development of over 150 new works by emerging librettists and composers.

In May 2000, Opera America honored Encompass New Opera Theatre and founding Artistic Director Nancy Rhodes for Twenty-five Years of Dynamic Leadership. She has served on the faculties of Manhattan School of Music, Hunter College, and Mercy College. The Theory of Everything received commissioning and developing funds from Opera America, the Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust, and from the National Endowment for the Arts, Access to Excellence.
