Membership Information & Benefits
Membership in the Theosophical Society is open to those who are in sympathy with its three Objects. Membership includes:
- participation in an international organization with members in some 70 countries of the world and local groups (lodges and study centers) in over 100 locations in the United States
- subscription to The Quest, a bimonthly magazine of philosophy, science, religion, and the arts, and The Messenger, a newsletter
- use of the Henry S. Olcott Memorial Library in person or by mail
- a series of letters covering basic Theosophical concepts
- discounts on lectures, workshops, retreats, seminars and other programs at the National Center
- information about Theosophical camps in New York State, Washington State, California, and Arkansas
- participation in electronic or postal study groups
- invitations to special events for members only
Membership is of two types:
1. local group membership in a lodge or study center and
2. membership-at-large, unattached to a local group.
