The Soul's Growth Through Reincarnation

One lifetime is nothing more than a "day" in the greater life of the soul. Just as each human being requires a number of years to reach the maturity of adulthood, so does each soul require more than a single lifetime to reach its spiritual "adulthood."  Our innate talents and abilities are not "gifts," but rather the result of our past efforts in previous lives. Reincarnation is the natural process by which the soul unfolds its divine potential over a long series of physical incarnations.

David Bruce, BA, obtained his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. A third generation Theosophist, David joined the TS staff in 2003 as Director of Education, and is currently National Secretary of the Theosophical Society in America.
