Theosophical Study Group for Members

Wednesdays, 7–8:00 p.m. 

This Study Group offers TS members a space to meet, study, and discuss Theosophical teachings and their application to daily life. Meetings alternate with Living Theosophy lectures which are open to all participants and organized by the study group as a venue for introductory Theosophy.

Therapeutic Touch Practice Circle

First and Third Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m.

April 4, 18, May 2 and 16, June 6 and 20

A Therapeutic Touch (TT) group for healing meets for practice and experience under the guidance of Sue Wright, RN, DNSc,  and Marilyn Johnston, EdD, RN. Having both learned TT from Dora Kunz and Delores Krieger, founders of this healing practice, they each have been teaching and practicing TT for over 30 years. If you need healing or wish to practice this technique, come and join us!

Healing Circle

Order of the Round Table

Third Saturday of the month,    2–4 p.m.
For children and young people

Through ceremony, games, story-telling, and creative activities, the Order of the Round Table helps youth grow as useful and happy members of society. Advaita Study Group

Sundays, Ongoing, 6:30 to 8 p.m. 

IAmThatWe read and discuss chapters from an Advaita book (currently I Am That by Nisargadatta) and listen to or view Advaita-oriented materials from various online sources. You are welcome to visit, join, or rejoin the group at any time.

 

Facilitators: Jon Knebel  students of Theosophy and Advaita Vedanta.

 Please note: While donations are voluntary, we have an obligation as responsible beings. There is an expense to the Theosophical Society for providing the classroom, lighting, air conditioning, restroom and other facilities. We would like to keep the suggested donation voluntary to make it possible for those who cannot otherwise afford it to participate.

 

Meditation Group

Sundays,  11 a.m. 

 
Jim BoscoEach week, a topic related to meditation will be presented and discussed, followed by a brief guided meditation and longer silent meditation. Instruction will be provided for beginners, but practitioners of all levels are encouraged to share their path of meditation.

Jim Bosco, a student of Theosophy and meditation for over 35 years, has studied at the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy and the Temple of Kriya Yoga.

Reiki Share

Sundays, 12:30–1:30 p.m. (after morning meditation) 

Jim BoscoJoin a gathering of Reiki practitioners who congregate for an energy sharing or healing session. Group energies are often very strong, and the experience may range from simply refreshing to profound. Non-Reiki practitioners are also welcome.
