  THE QUEST FOR A PUBLICIST

Quest Books is seeking a publicist to develop and execute national publicity campaigns for 10-12 titles per year.

We are looking for a creative self-starter with proven media contacts and a solid foundation in book publicity who has experience with emerging digital media. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a deadline-driven environment is required.  Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills are a must.

The qualified candidate will generate publicity strategies; create and distribute press materials; seek out and maintain contact with TV and radio producers and book review editors; and pitch to national and local TV, radio, print and electronic media.

Please submit your resume and cover letter to Nicole Krier's attention at marketing@questbooks.net

First Tuesday of the month 6:30-7:30 p.m. (January through May) Develop and reflect upon spiritual practice with Tim Boyd, vice-president of the Theosophical Society in America.

"Above all there must be perfect harmony between ourselves and others, if we would celebrate Christmas aright; for that is a necessary condition if the Christmas forces are to flow through us. For Christ reigns in the heart of every man, and in serving our brothers we serve the Lord of Love Himself."

~ Dora van Gelder
