  OLCOTT EXPERIENCE

Leadership Conference a Success

In September, 16 TS members from 9 different states participated in a 5-day leadership conference called the "Olcott Experience." The Olcott Experience is an invitational event in which selected members from lodges and study centers meet at the national center (Olcott) for informational and training sessions. Presentation topics included: Theosophical history, meditation in group work, TSA online resources, using the online library catalog, an archival display, and how to give effective oral presentations. National Secretary David Bruce and staff from the national center led the sessions. Participants had a great time, made new friends, and left feeling motivated and empowered. The Olcott Experience is made possible by a generous grant from the Kern Foundation.
