the voice of the silence david bruceOne of the last works of the great esoteric teacher and Theosophical Society co-founder H. P. Blavatsky is the little gem known as The Voice of the Silence. Consisting of slightly over 300 verses, its beautiful and poetic style has inspired generations of readers, many of whom have used it as a spiritual guidebook and for daily meditation. In this introductory talk, we will explore some of the main themes found in The Voice of the Silence, such as compassion and the Three Halls, as well as some of its more celebrated verses.   

David BruceDavid Bruce is a third generation Theosophist and currently serves as the national secretary of the Theosophical Society in America. He created and manages the Society’s prison program, which provides correspondence course instruction to hundreds of prisoners with the help of volunteer mentors. David is the author of Serving a Higher Purpose, a book of short theosophical essays.
