Meditation for World Peace!

Please join us for our second monthly Meditation for World Peace. We will meet in person at our National Center in Wheaton, IL, and online via live webcast!

This short program will feature a discussion regarding peace and unity among all people followed by a 15-minute world peace meditation. The Meditation for World Peace group will meet on the last Friday of every month. Each meeting will feature a different speaker and meditation and will represent a variety of spiritual and religious traditions.

Rumi's Poetic Theology of Love

Rumi used his poetry to describe the relationship between the worshiper and the divine beloved. In these poems, the worshiper succumbs to the suprarational experience of love, usually as romantic love (eros), but also as unconditional, self-sacrificing love (agape). Explore Rumi's theology of love not only as a feeling, but an attitude that defines the very essence of righteousness and true religion.

The Shamanic Way of Living, Growing, and Dying with Grace

We gather on this day to celebrate life; practice shamanic cleansing and clearing rituals; and learn ways to release attachments so that we support ourselves and loved ones to live with joy, grace, and ease, and to die with the gifts in which we have lived. We will also gather in shamanic ceremony to honor all those who have crossed from this life. Specific shamanic techniques will be taught and practiced.
