Dr. Franz Hartmann was one of the most fascinating and practical voices within the early Theosophical movement. A physician, mystic, writer, and close associate of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Hartmann sought to unite spiritual insight with inner transformation and daily life. This talk will explore key moments in his life, his connection with the Mahatmas and the letters he received and his practical teachings. The presentation will also include the “Seven Steps on the Ladder” from his book Magic: White and Black, which describe the stages in the evolution of human consciousness and the spiritual development of humanity.
