The Tarot is an amazing system of wisdom expressed through 78 symbolic cards. Primarily used for divination, it is also a powerful tool for self-growth. Join us for a monthly gathering to delve into the symbolic ocean of the Tarot.
This group is open to beginners as well as seasoned practitioners and offers a workshop space to cultivate skill in reading, deepen understanding of the symbols, and strengthen a personal connection to the cards. We will discuss reading layouts and how to frame meaningful questions, and explore other wisdom systems woven into the Tarot, such as astrology, numerology, and color theory.
Each class begins with meditation on an aspect of the Tarot to cultivate an intimate relationship with the system. We then discuss the theme, share insights, and put the information into practice through shared readings. Please bring a favorite deck and a spirit of exploration.
Member Rate: $15 per class • Standard Rate: $20 per class
Karen Tlusty (Starsong) is an astrologer, Tarot reader, musician, and ceremonialist. She began reading cards in the late ’80s, which eventually led to her study of astrology. Karen has been reading professionally for more than a decade and is currently an astrology and Tarot reader at the Quest Bookstore. She has facilitated sacred circles for nearly 40 years and has held the Community Drum Circle for more than 30 years.
