Astrology as a Spiritual Practice: A Companion for Self-Realization

Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. CT
February 2 – 23 (4 classes)

A Four-Week Course with Rachel Lang

Astrology can be its own spiritual path, a way of deepening our daily awareness of our connection with the sacred. In this four-week course, we will explore astrology as a practice of attunement and alignment. You will learn to track the movements of the moon and planets as expressions of divine intelligence, to choose auspicious times for intention and reflection, and to weave planetary cycles into your spiritual life.

Each session will combine teaching, guided meditation, journaling, and practical application.

Together, we’ll discover how astrology can be a tool for our daily lives and a companion on the journey of self-realization.

See below for the full course syllabus.

Registrants will receive on-demand access to recording(s) that can be viewed for four weeks following the conclusion of the program. Late registrants will receive recording links to all missed sessions.

SYLLABUS

Week 1 — Astrology as a Language of Spirit

Astrology is a mirror of consciousness, revealing the soul’s relationship with the cosmos. This week will introduce astrology as a tool for self-discovery — one that opens our intuitive awareness and invites us to observe planetary movements as reflections of divine order.

Week 2 — The Moon as Your Daily Guide

The moon’s cycle mirrors our inner tides — our emotions, needs, and creative energy. We’ll learn how to follow lunar phases, set intentions at the New Moon, and release at the Full Moon, aligning our spiritual practices with the moon’s flow. You’ll also learn about your natal moon sign and house, and what it means for your spiritual and intuitive development.

Week 3 — Planetary Movements as Teachers

Each planet embodies a principle of consciousness and offers spiritual lessons through its motion and transits. We’ll explore how to recognize planetary patterns as teachers, timing guides, and meditative focal points. You’ll learn how to create meditative altars to honor the planets, invoking them to work in your life.

Week 4 — Integrating Astrology into Daily Life

This final session will bring it all together. You’ll design your own “sky practice,” a personal rhythm that blends astrology, meditation, ritual, and reflection. By harmonizing with celestial cycles, you cultivate peace, purpose, and spiritual presence in daily life.
