Saturday, May 9, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CT
This is a hybrid event. Join in person or online!
In Theosophical teachings, the Heart is the seat of Buddhi—the spiritual consciousness. Known by mystics of all traditions, the light of Buddhi transcends the confinements of the mind and provides a perception of the reality beyond it.
Reflected in the intellect, this light appears as spiritual understanding; reflected in the emotional nature, it manifests as spiritual love. The awakening of the Heart marks the gradual shift from identification with the separate personality to participation in the deeper life of the One Self.
This retreat explores the Heart as a faculty of knowing and the inner sanctuary where wisdom and compassion are indivisible. Through meditation, sacred reading, mantra, conscious movement, and self-observation, we seek to refine perception, quiet the restless mind, and allow the light of spiritual consciousness to illumine our daily life. A full schedule can be found below.
