Course Syllabus
Class 1 – Embracing Emptiness in Daily Life
Explore the foundational Buddhist teaching of emptiness and its power to free the mind from habitual reactivity and fixed ideas. This class will guide participants in recognizing emptiness not as a void, but as a spacious awareness that transforms how we experience the world, time, and thought itself.
Class 2 – Finding Fulfillment in Work and Play
Discover how an understanding of emptiness can open the door to deeper joy, creativity, and meaning in our everyday routines. Whether at work, in creative expression, or in leisure, this session will show how letting go of rigid expectations can allow presence and purpose to arise more naturally.
Class 3 – Cultivating Compassionate Relationships
This class explores how emptiness helps redefine our relationships by loosening the grip of ego, blame, and unrealistic demands. Through reflective practices, we will examine how embracing freedom and responsibility fosters compassion, empathy, and authentic connection.
Class 4 – Walking the Empty Path
Bringing the journey full circle, this final session will focus on applying the insights of emptiness to our personal identity and sense of self. With practical tools and contemplative exercises, participants will learn how to return to the truth of who they are beneath the busyness of modern life
