Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras: A Manual for Peace, Presence & Living Fully

Saturday, March 14, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. CT

patanjalis yoga sutras a manual for peace presence living fully 03.14.2026 1Long before yoga became synonymous with postures, the ancient sage Patanjali offered a precise map for the human mind—a spiritual psychology that remains as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago.

The Yoga Sutras are not a collection of doctrines; they are a manual for liberation, a step-by-step guide to cultivating peace, clearing emotional residue from the past, and awakening to the extraordinary capacity of the present moment.

This illuminating and accessible talk brings Patanjali’s teachings into living, modern application. With more than 50 years of practice and thousands of students trained, Devarshi Steven Hartman translates ancient wisdom into practical tools that meet the realities of everyday life—relationships, work, self-worth, distraction, longing, and the deep desire to feel fully alive.

The Yoga Sutras offer insight into:

  • How the mind creates suffering—and how it can release it
  • Why the past continues to shape the present, until it is cleared
  • Simple practices that cultivate presence and peace, even in chaos
  • How the threefold path of clarity, discipline, and surrender leads inward

The Sutras remind us that inner peace isn’t accidental—it’s attainable, trainable, and inherent.

Join this transformative experience for renewed clarity, confidence, and living fully awake.
