Sacred Imagination and Working on the Inner Planes

Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. CT
April 27 – May 18 (4 classes)

sacred imagination and working on the inner planesThe imagination is a bridge between the spiritual, psychic, and material, and is one of humanity’s most powerful capacities for creating change. Rooted in Theosophical and occult philosophy and practice, this highly experiential course examines sacred imagination as a disciplined faculty for conscious work on the inner planes.

Participants are introduced to both the philosophical underpinnings of such work and practical guiding principles, including safety and ethical guardrails that have long accompanied inner development, emphasizing discernment, safe boundaries, and responsibility.

Through carefully structured and progressive practices, participants are invited to explore subtler states of awareness and begin forming conscious, respectful relationships within these realms. This course lays a solid foundation for further personal practice.

Weekly Class Schedule

Class 1: Theoretical Underpinnings
This opening session situates inner-plane work within a Theosophical and occult philosophical framework. Participants receive a clear conceptual grounding in the use of imagination as a faculty of inner perception, with attention to its role in spiritual evolution. The session also addresses ethical considerations, psychological balance, and traditional cautions associated with this work, establishing a sound foundation for the practices that follow.

Class 2: Foundational Experiences
Combining essential technical knowledge with guided experiential practice, this class introduces safe and reliable methods for entering and exiting the inner planes. Participants begin to discover their personal inner-plane landscapes and establish stable, repeatable pathways of access. Please have a face mask or blindfold, a quiet and undisturbed space, and a journal available.

Class 3: Tools and Interventions
Building upon the previous session, participants deepen their engagement with their inner-plane landscapes and explore the creation or discovery of inner tools that support purposeful action. The class examines how such tools may be used skillfully for personal development as well as for service. Guided experiences and reflection help clarify intention and responsibility in inner-plane work. Please have a face mask or blindfold, a quiet and undisturbed space, and a journal available.

Class 4: Relationships
This session focuses on relationships encountered on the inner planes, including aspects of the higher Self and contact with other beings, including the Great Ones. Participants are offered clear guidance and ethical guardrails for approaching such relationships with discernment and respect. Structured experiences support conscious encounter and relationship-building. The course concludes with guidance on continuing this work through independent, unstructured inner-plane journeys. Please have a face mask or blindfold, a quiet and undisturbed space, and a journal available.
