Saturday, January 31, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. CT
Join us to learn about two techniques, divided attention and dialogue, that you can use to work through your dreams independently. Especially applicable to more intense dreams, these techniques can help us navigate our dualities, imagination, and illusions.
Divided attention is a discipline derived from P. D. Ouspensky’s understanding of G. I. Gurdjieff’s work. It involves simultaneously directing attention between an external activity and one's inner state, thus fostering conscious awareness. Gwynne Mayer will discuss how we can use divided attention to avoid getting caught up in the duality of our own personal work.
The second tool Gwynne will discuss is dialoguing. When we learn to dialogue with ourselves, we are able to recognize the duality and illusions that our dreams bring to us. Gwynne will explain how to dialogue and show us how to avoid the false dramas and misconceptions that can leave residue in our dream work.
Previous experience with Gurdjieff and Ouspensky is not required, just an openness to further spiritual growth!
Registrants will receive on-demand access to recording(s) that can be viewed for four weeks following the conclusion of the program.
