This two-part class offers a practical and transformative approach to inner development, rooted in classical Theosophical principles. Through reflective exercises, self-inquiry, and guided meditations, participants will explore how self-knowledge and the cultivation of virtue can dissolve personal suffering and support spiritual evolution.
The method centers on identifying recurring sources of sorrow, uncovering the latent spiritual quality that counterbalances them, and consciously embodying that virtue in daily life.
To support this transformative process, participants will learn and practice:
- A self-examination technique to uncover recurring sources of personal suffering and their manifestations
- A method of inquiry to distinguish surface reactions from deeper habitual patterns, and to identify the opposing spiritual quality (virtue)
- A meditative practice for contemplating spiritual qualities and integrating them into awareness
- A visualization technique of expression of the chosen virtue in real-life scenarios—supporting transformation not only of consciousness but also of the brain
The class will balance verbal instruction, guided practice, and reflective journaling to support insights and their expression in daily life.
Registrants will receive on-demand access to recording(s) that can be viewed for four weeks following the conclusion of the program. Late registrants will receive recording links to all missed sessions.
Suggested cost: $40
