 Join us for a remarkable centennial celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone of the Theosophical Society headquarters building in 1926. This historic event offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich history, design, and enduring significance of one of the Society’s most recognizable landmarks. Throughout the day, enjoy guided tours, special exhibits, and engaging presentations that highlight the building’s architectural features, construction, and place in the cultural history of the campus. Learn about the people, vision, and craftsmanship that brought this distinctive structure to life a century ago. Light refreshments will be available as guests gather to celebrate and appreciate a building that has stood as a centerpiece of the community for generations.

Tim Samuelson has served on the Commission on Chicago Landmarks, as Curator of Architecture at the Chicago Historical Society, and as the Chicago Cultural Center's first cultural historian. After a distinguished 33-year career with the City of Chicago, he continues to document and share insights from his extensive collection of historical artifacts.
